Salty Recipe – Tortillas


As much as I love sweet food I do eat salty food from time to time too.
So here is a recipe for a wholewheat tortillas filled with vegetable and chicken.


These tortillas are really easy to make and you can switch your ingredients if you want (you can use different vegetable of different meat).


PS Vegetable is grown on our garden here in Slovenia.





  • 100g chicken
  • Seasoning: nutmeg, ginger, turmeric, red pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp low fat Greek yoghurt
  • 30g low fat grated cheese
  • ½ red paprika (cut to pieces)
  • ½ onion
  • 2 wholewheat tortillas
  • salt and pepper




  1. Heat up an olive oil on a pan than add cut to pieces onion and than cut to pieces chicken with added seasoning
  2. When the meat is cooled down mix it with other ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Add mixture in tortilla (about 2-3 tbsp of mixture) and fold it in half
  4. Heat up a pan with 1 tsp of olive oil again and bake tortilla (that is already folded in half) for a few minutes on both sides (to become crispy)
  5. Cut on half and serve.
